Garry Banks

Trained by BSM and became a fully qualified approved driving instructor in 2005. Stayed with BSM for 1 year then moved to join AA enjoying a very successful time with a massive pass rate. First 10 months with AA saw 24 pupils taken to test with 21 passing equating to 90% pass rate!! Pass rate has settled to around 75%.National average is 43%.

Garry is friendly, patient, reliable and a great communicator. Most pupils say his patience is better than any previous instructors.

Mike Smart

Dave Novis

Dave arrives from West London with bundles of experience and lives in Fareham, covering Portchester and Paulsgrove. Meticulous and thorough he’ll get you a licence no problem at all.

Nick Bassett

Nick is our top Hayling Island instructor covering Havant, Rowlands Castle, Emsworth and Portsmouth. He’s a very hard working instructor with hundreds of passes and works all hours.

  • Gary was the best instructor I could of asked for. He’s great to get along with and is completely honest. His sense of humour is great and I thoroughly enjoyed every lesson I had. I was learning with Gary for around 7 months and passed first time. For that I have no-one to thank but a brilliant and patient instructor. Every time I sat behind the wheel I felt comfortable knowing Gary was next to me, guiding me through until the time came for my test.
